Our Team
Kelly Nodurft - Owner
Kelly began her QuickBooks love affair in 2014 while working with a boutique corporate gifting company out of St. Louis. Spending her days generating purchase orders and invoices, collecting client payments and developing systems and processes she began to find her niche. Kelly discovered a passion for the reporting powers and capabilities of the software and became a student of it from that day. Since 2014, she has worked with other businesses who utilized the software in different ways and decided to make the leap to become a QuickBooks Pro Advisor while pursuing further designations in the bookkeeping field.
She is a proud mother to Avery, our 'why' and wife to her husband, Michael. They are working towards owning land in Western Colorado to practice and teach sustainable, profitable farming.
She wants to help business owners to reach their dreams of financial freedom and work-life balance by removing the burden of reconciling books, paying bills and tracking incoming cash flow.

Avery Nodurft - The Inspiration
When Avery was born in 2021, Kelly quickly realized that life goes by far too quickly, and spending time with our children while still being able to leave behind a legacy for them became her number one focus. Avery inspired the dream of Pure Green Books and the desire to grow our small business from a service-based model to allow other small business owners to continue to grow theirs as well. Avery's love of nature, as well as ours, made our commitment to One Tree Planted and reducing our personal impact an easy choice, so we may inspire others to do their part to leave this planet better than we found it for future generations.

Part of our sustainable practices include 100% remote work. We work with our clients through Google Meet or Zoom so we can share screens to review reports together, review any questions, systems or processes and see each other's smiling faces. This helps us to cut our carbon emissions considerably by reducing our commute to zero, and not devoting energy to powering a separate workspace. Together, we can make a difference!
Not at all! Partnering with Pure Green Books will often cost you less than hiring a part-time employee depending on the size of your business, with none of the risk and added expense of another person on the payroll. Plus you're donating to One Tree Planted in the process! Our services start at $500 per month and increase based on monthly revenue.
While we do not offer tax preparation services at this time, we can recommend great small business owners who do and we will work to get your books ready for your accountant to review to save you, and them, valuable time and money.
We will work with you to ensure you're as covered as possible in the event of an audit and notify you of any missing receipts or additional data to request from vendors to add to your files to ensure you have the substantial proof that you need to validate your books.
